Lateness has never been a fashionable habit unless when one is trying to make a statement or punish a lover by keeping him or her waiting. In the corporate world and generally with all other informal settings, lateness is consistently frowned upon. Being known as a time waster/latecomer is not a good label. Ordinarily, we usually do not plan to be late for interviews, appointments, meetings, school pickups etc. but more often than not, we are behind schedule and constantly find ourselves frazzled as we desperately race to keep up with appointments.

If you had asked if I had any prejudices toward Muslims, I’d vehemently have said none and cited examples of many Muslim friends, classmates, colleagues whom I love dearly. As I sit on the train eating my once ice-cream now turned milkshake cold stone coffee lovers delight, I realize this post has morphed into a completely different one from what I intended. This was supposed to be a post about my tried and tested travel tips for road warrior 9ja moms – all about efficiency in the true Lazy 9jaMom’s way ;) but events have overtaken that purpose I guess and it will have to be delayed…....
